The beautiful World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Busser / Food Runner to support our operations. Ideal candidates have exceptional customer service skills, desire to provide a great experience for our guests and be at least 18 years of age. Open Week and Weekend availability is required.

The Busser / Food Runner supports team members in attending to the needs of our guests and serves guests in a prompt, courteous, efficient and enthusiastic manner according to company policies and procedures. This position is responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing and resetting tables.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Removes used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating.
  • Helps control waste and breakage, handles service ware with care.
  • Handles service ware with caution.
  • Loads and unloads bus tubs with care.
  • Assists in keeping restaurant neat and clean, inside and outside.
  • Wipes down chairs and picks up floors around each table bussed.
  • Observes good sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Keeps side stations stocked.
  • Knowledgeable of table numbers and sections.
  • Ensures dishes match the ticket including modifiers and special requests.
  • Deliver the correct food to the correct table number
  • Communicate with team members regarding requests and any incomplete orders / deliveries of food.
  • Performs opening, running, and closing duties as designated by manager.
  • Performs any other specific duties as assigned by management.
  • Adheres to policies as set forth in associate handbook and department manual.
  • Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • Highly organized
  • Very proficient at multi-tasking
