LEO Pharma is looking for a dedicated Data Privacy Compliance Counsel to support the execution and operationalization of our Data Privacy Program. Your Role: As a Data Privacy Compliance Counsel, you will support the execution of LEO Pharma’s Data Privacy Program. You’ll take on critical responsibilities tied to risk assessment, drafting data privacy agreements, privacy incident management, global process optimization, and training, as well as continually ensuring our data privacy practices and policies align with applicable laws and best practices. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting the development and implementation of LEO Pharma’s Data Privacy Program, including policies, procedures, and controls to ensure data privacy compliance. Managing LEO Pharma’s data privacy management tool by implementing, configuring, and maintaining the tool, and providing training and guidance to employees. Monitoring LEO Pharma’s data privacy practices, identifying compliance risks, and implementing mitigations. Managing data privacy-related incidents, including investigating breaches, managing the breach log, assessing risks, and supporting reporting processes. Assisting the external Data Protection Officer (DPO) with data privacy audits and other external audits as required. Maintaining and deploying the data privacy training program and ensuring the training materials are up-to-date. Conducting and developing training sessions for LEO Pharma’s Data Protection Focal Point Network. Your Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should bring: A Master’s degree in Law and at least 5 years of experience in a legal role focused on data privacy. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or working with AI compliance is a benefit, but not a requirement. Strong working knowledge of global data privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR. Experience managing and working with data privacy management tools, such as privacy management or data inventory software. Proficiency in developing and implementing data privacy policies, procedures, and controls. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across all organizational levels. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The ability to provide sound legal advice and operational support on data privacy matters to both internal and external stakeholders. Fluency in English.
