Fairview Hospital’s Parkview III Med/Surg Unit primarily focuses on the care of post-operative patients. Patients in this unit have had orthopaedic, spine, low-risk bariatric, urology, vascular, colorectal and general surgeries, but this unit sees all types of surgical and trauma patients. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medication and treatments, assessing and coordinating patients’ discharge plans, and monitoring, recording and communicating patients’ condition.
