Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an **HGV Driver** to join our team in**Diss**. The role is offering a competitive salary, range of fantastic benefits and the opportunity to join one of the UKs Largest Independent Builders Merchants. Huws Gray Group are a fast-growing Builders Merchant and since the formation in 1990, have developed from a single branch of 5 staff in Anglesey to over 120 branches nationwide with over 1900 staff with this figure due to increase to over 5500 staff members in the very near future. Our brands include: Huws Gray, Huws Gray Ridgeons, Ridgeons Forest Products, Anglia Tool Centre and Plumbstock.

**Your key responsibilities as an HGV Driver will include:**
- Providing an effective and reliable multidrop delivery and collection service to customers and other branches
- Representing the company when out of the branch dealing with customers and the public
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
**To fit the HGV Driver role, you will need to be:**
- Able to work on your own initiative, but also willing to work as part of a wider team
- A good communicator who is presentable, approachable, positive and polite
- Motivated, energetic and passionate about your work
- In possession of a valid current Category C HGV licence
- HIAB certification and experience in the transport of hazardous cargo is desirable, but this training as well as that for forklift and other mechanical handling equipment, can be provided
- Knowledge of the building industry and building supplies would be an advantage
