Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is currently seeking a full-time OB/GYN Physician to join our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2025. The successful candidate must be committed to providing unparalleled patient care, Board Certified/Board Eligible, have at least 5 years of experience, and Robotically Trained.  Houston Methodist Cypress Campus provides the infrastructure that allows our faculty to enjoy the benefits of the latest equipment and an experienced staff.  The OB/Gyn physician will rotate call with their partner(s) as well as private practice physicians to encourage a greater work-life balance.  The candidate is expected to collaborate with their peers in aligning specialties to grow the Comprehensive Women’s Health Center to provide family-centered care and education at every phase of a woman’s life.

About Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital:

Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2025, will be Houston Methodist's ninth hospital and will incorporate the most advanced technology available from the day the doors open. With 400 beds and a prime location in the heart of the rapidly growing U.S. 290 corridor, the hospital will be equipped with technologically advanced innovations implemented during COVID, many of them designed to make patient communication with physicians, staff, and families the very best and most effective in any health care facility.  The hospital is expected to employ about 500 people and construction is expected to start this spring.

 

About The Cypress Community:

 

Cypress (sometimes referred to as Cy-Fair for Cypress-Fairbanks), is an unincorporated area of Harris County, Texas and is located approximately twenty-five miles northwest of Downtown Houston.           The local Cypress economy is robust, jobs and other amenities are attracting an influx of new residents.

There are many families with children currently living in Cypress. This is a community where both parents and children are developing strong social ties with other families. Cypress is also home of the highly rated Cy-Fair Independent School District and the large population of college-educated adults provide an environment conducive to academic success. Home ownership is dominant in Cypress with numerous master-planned communities. Finally, the overall crime rate in Cypress is much lower than average for the United States.
