Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Thermal Engineer on our AI Infrastructure Team in Austin, Texas, Santa Clara California or Hopkinton Massachusetts.
Participate in the development of next-generation large-scale AI Infrastructure with focus on leading Cooling and thermal technologies – direct liquid cooling, cold plates, coolant distribution unit technology, heat exchanger, and rack integration technologies. Engage with high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications. Work closely with the suppliers, CTO organization, and hardware engineering to enable the supply base to move at scale. Additionally, partner with Procurement and Operations to lead longer term supplier and category strategies.
Lead critical industry relationships with the supply base to develop advanced cooling technologies for AI solutions. Help develop business cases for future product strategies and position supply base for working in the Dell supply chain at scale. Supplier Engagement: Engage with the supplier base on future technologies, identifying and developing their technical capabilities
Supply Base Development: Procurement Collaboration: Engage with procurement on supplier development strategies
Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Technical Design Experience: Senior-level experience in technical design with thermals / liquid cooling technologies
Relationship Building: Strong relationships with the supply base and the ability to build long-term technical engagement strategies
Expertise in liquid and air-cooling solutions to support data center deployments. Deep knowledge of CDUs, cold plates, rear door heat exchangers and overall coolant distribution systems for data centers
15+ years industry experience with bachelor’s degree or equivalent skill
