You'll be using hand and power tools, rivet guns, pneumatics, and following work instructions or blueprints. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and good hand dexterity. Physical tasks such as kneeling, bending, climbing, and crawling will be part of the daily routine. Additionally, you will be performing point-to-point wiring, assembling panels, making wiring harnesses, and using splicers and crimping tools. You should also be comfortable lifting weights up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Basic computer skills are also required.**Hard Skills**+ Mechanical assembly+ Electrical wiring+ Blueprint reading+ Use of hand and power tools+ Use of rivet guns and pneumatics+ Use of splicers and crimping tools+ Basic computer skills**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Canton, Ohio.**Work Environment**The work environment is demanding and can involve working in hot or cold conditions. The role involves working with a team of 5-10 other assemblers. The shifts are from 6:00 am - 4 pm from Monday to Thursday with potential overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. There's also a weekend shift from 6 am-6 pm from Friday to Sunday, which comes with a 16% shift differential. Your first day will be dedicated to orientation, running from 8 am to 3:30 pm. The work pace can fluctuate from being extremely busy to very slow.
