Responsibilities

Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Group is seeking to add a Full Time APP provider to our Primary Care Team in Sparta, TN.

Position Highlights:

  • M-F Full Time schedule
  • Preference given to candidates experienced in Primary Care
  • Prefer 3+ years of experience in PCP or Urgent Care Setting
  • Working with (1) Physician and (1) Nurse Practitioner
  • Taking overflow patients from the current clinic as well as establishing your own patient panel.

  • 60 licensed beds (currently operating as private rooms)
  • Acute Care Floor plus a 14-bed Geropsych Inpatient Unit

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
Master's degree of Nursing required.
