Construction Superintendent – Georgia, United States (Commercial Construction)

Location: Project-based in Georgia, United States (Travels as required)


Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the construction of a 3-floor commercial project in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and be familiar with managing projects across various sectors, including education, healthcare, hospitality, and office spaces. The Construction Superintendent will oversee the full life cycle of the project, ensuring high-quality delivery, adherence to safety standards, and effective coordination of on-site activities.


Key Responsibilities of Construction Superintendent:

  • Manage all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction through project completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Oversee daily on-site operations, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of construction work, adhering to all specifications and design plans.
  • Maintain strict safety standards and ensure the job site complies with OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and report on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of production, including daily logs, schedules, and reporting.
  • Proactively address and resolve issues that may impact project schedules, budget, or safety.
  • Oversee site inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.


Requirements of Construction Superintendent:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong focus on multi-floor projects.
  • Proven track record of managing projects in various sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, and office construction.
  • Ability to oversee complex construction schedules, budgets, and personnel on-site.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration between different teams.
  • Experience managing subcontractor relationships and leading job site operations.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites, including being on-site for the duration of each project.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications of Construction Superintendent:

  • Experience managing projects across multiple sectors.
  • Familiarity with Georgia construction regulations and local codes.
