Senior Associate Architect – Growth Opportunity in Denver 


FitzGerald Associates Architects, a nationally recognized firm specializing in architecture, interior design, and sustainability, is seeking a driven, growth-minded Senior Associate - Architect to join our expanding Denver office. About the Role: 

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to not only design projects but also be the face of our Denver office, working closely with firm leadership to expand our client base and elevate our presence in the local market. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of exceptionally talented professionals while contributing to community-focused developments and meaningful design solutions. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Leadership & Growth: Be instrumental in expanding our Denver office, bringing innovative ideas to the table, and contributing to our firm’s long-term success. Build relationships in and contribute to the Denver design and real estate development communities. 
  • Project Involvement: Engage in all phases of the design process, from concept to construction. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of project types including Mixed-Use, Multifamily, Retail, Workplace, Commercial, and Adaptive Reuse Developments. 
  • Technical Expertise: Lead in engineering coordination, construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration, ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and budget goals. 
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor associates, fostering a collaborative culture of excellence, innovation and result-oriented work environment. 


Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 10 years of architectural experience, including proficiency in Revit. 
  • Strong knowledge of multifamily housing is required; experience with commercial office projects is a plus. 
  • Expertise in design, construction materials, building codes, and zoning ordinances and processes. 
  • Licensed architect. 
  • Proactive, flexible, and ready to manage multiple responsibilities.
