QA Inspector II

Job Overview The QA Inspector prepares product for inspection, inspects product, and assembles commercial-grade sporting optics and accessories. The inspector will work under direct supervision, following procedures and standard work instructions. Some non-standard work shifts may be required.Responsibilities and Duties:Inspects optical components and accessories for defects, using various techniques, tools, and computer aided equipment.Performs in a factory-style inspection line, which may also include mechanical assembly of small parts.Perform repetitive work requiring dexterity and hand/eye coordinationRuns software to report and/or record defectsReads inspection standards, processes, should also be able to understand and follow work instructionsReports problems with quality, processes, equipment, materials or questionable conditions to the department managerFollows instruction to meet daily objectivesComplies with policies, guidelines, prescribed safety regulations, and regulatory requirementsPerforms other duties, as needed, within the Primary Arms TeamRequired qualifications:Detail orientedLegally authorized to work in the United StatesAble to read, write and speak English fluentlyBe a team player and work well under pressureHave an excellent work ethicWilling to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities as they ariseBe proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)Preferred qualifications:Soldering experience with PWAs, small parts, and wiresSome experience working with microscopes for some processes. Understanding and/or passion for optics and outdoor shooting sportsThe desire to grow, improve processes, and present ideas in a clear and concise mannerEducation and Experience:High school diploma required; Associate degree preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in a clean room environment, stand or sit for long periods of timeMust wear clean room attire and always adhere to clean room environmental protocols where applicable.Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times
