Position: Composites & Assembly Production Coordinator

Job Description

Summary: Hera Technologies, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Coordinator to join our team working in a hands-on, collaborative environment. The individual will be responsible for performing the essential job duties of this position and other job-related duties assigned.

FLSA Classification: Hourly Nonexempt

Type: Full-time

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm; Some overtime and weekend work may be necessary. Hours may be adjusted at the discretion of your supervisor.

Salary Range: $24.00 - $27.00 DOE

Reports to: Composites Manager

Location: 100% onsite at 1055 E Francis St. Ontario, CA 91761 USA

Essential Job Duties (which include, but not limited to):
  • Keep inventory maintained, labeled, organized and levels tracked, including shelf-life items. Resources will be available to lead this effort.
  • When required interface with vendors, suppliers, carriers, internal customers, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems relative to receipt, distribution of material, out-sourced part workmanship, missing documentation, and poor raw material quality.
  • When reviewing jobs for closure, identify any or all traveler operations not bought-off prior to current operation and take them to your manager to get further instructions.
  • Actively monitor jobs and corresponding physical work center locations in real-time.
  • Address and escalate scheduling issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
  • Ensure production supply inventories are maintained and notify the appropriate purchasing associates when items need to be restocked.
  • Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to next production location.
  • Coordinate physical movement of parts through receiving inspection, stock rooms, purchasing, production resources or any applicable work center.
  • Ensure parts are handled and protected properly and within company specifications.
  • Assist with resolution of inventory inaccuracies to help supply planning and production teams meet expected demand schedules.
  • Support the manufacturing/production, supply chain and inventory teams cross-functionally.

  • Develop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables and constraints as required for internal and customer use.
  • Support logistics process through innovative staging of workflow as required.
  • Support management of material certifications as required prevent use of uncertified materials.
  • Support production and inventory personnel with "return to stock" actions.
  • Support assigned production cells with work order management activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 2+ years of expediting/material handling experience
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
  • Experience operating a forklift and/or material handling motorized vehicles and equipment.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with an ERP system.
  • Experience with scanning equipment (RF scanner, handheld scanner, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft suite.
Work Environment:
  • Must be willing to work in an open-aired environment, lacking temperature controls.
  • The incumbent will spend a portion of the day on their feet and must follow strict safety rules. They wear safety glasses to protect their eyes from airborne debris. Loud noise from machinery requires use of hearing protectors. They wear hard toe shoes or boots to protect their feet from potentially dropped objects.

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 75% of shift time.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include- near vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, including a drug and alcohol test.
