Job Title: HIM Inpatient Coder

Job Location: Broomfield, CO

Job Type: Contract

Job Duties:
* Assigns ICD, CPT and HCPCS coding classifications based on clinical documentation and/or physician orders.
* Hospital Side Coding; ICD-10-CM & PCS codes
* Inputting or verifying classification codes for patients’ diagnoses, testing procedures, and/or treatments.
* Would prefer candidates with Epic and 3M experience.
* Verifies data abstracted and entered from the EMR
* This position is for inpatient coders only - not professional coders.
* Codes and abstracts medical record data at an advanced level of complexity.

Job Requirements:
* Must have minimum 1 years of experience working as HIM Coder (Health Information Management)
* Must Know skills- EPIC, PCS, ICD, Hospital Billing, Medical Billing & Coding
* Must have any one certification Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
* Must have recent one year of experience as HIM Inpatient Coder

Schedule:
* Day Shift
* Monday to Friday
* 8 hours shift
* 40 Hours/Week
