Float Pool gives the opportunity to develop clinical assessment skills as well as sharpen skills in communication and teamwork. Health care workers who are compassionate, hard-working, and flexible will find working on this unit very rewarding

Locations you may float to:

  • SLTO: New Ballas Rd
  • Jefferson: Festus
  • South: South St Louis County- Kennerly Rd
  • Washington: Washington, MO
  • Lincoln: Troy, MO

Float Pool Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience. Six months of this experience should be within the last year
  • Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
  • Preferred Education: BSN
  • License: current RN license in our state
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

Mercy Regional Travel RN:

If you are an experienced ER RN (must have 3 years' experience), we have a Regional Travel position. The Registered Nurse will travel to all our Mercy St. Louis area hospitals

Travel Perks:

  • Base Rate (calculated off experience) PLUS an additional Float Incentive
  • Shift Differential Pay
  • Every 4th weekend
  • Self-Scheduling
  • 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year
