This position serves on a Medicaid Plan's Outpatient Behavioral Health Contracting Team. The employee will be responsible for managing provider contracting activities, ensuring timely recruitment and agreement execution to meet deadlines. The role requires independence, self‑motivation, quick learning and a strong track record in behavioral health contracting. Responsibilities Manage provider behavioral health contracting, including negotiation and issuance of contracts. Recruit and retain providers for a health plan network, obtaining fully executed agreements before deadlines. Provide daily status updates on progress in a clear, organized manner. Follow direction and engage in prompt follow‑through on contracting tasks. Handle multiple, competing work requests and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. Qualifications Prior experience with a Medicaid health plan negotiating and issuing behavioral health contracts. Successful provider recruitment and contract execution experience. Experience as a provider contract manager or assistant, responsible for developing and negotiating agreements. Ability to follow directions, engage in follow‑through promptly and remain on task. Must not have distractions during contract work hours. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business administration, public administration, law or related field. Experience with Washington State adult family homes and/or assisted living facilities. Experience interacting with Washington State DSHS Adult Long‑Term Support Administration (ALTSA), Residential Care Services (RCS) and/or Home Community Services (HCS) staff/programs. Preferred: Experience contracting in county government, performing contracting and finance functions. Work Environment Remote opportunity; must be located in Washington state, preferably within the Everett–Tacoma metro area. Work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
