Job Description:Nursing Assistant II - Float Pool $750 Sign-On Bonus for External CandidatesPart-Time 7a - 7pThe Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.Obtains and documents reported height and weighs patient on admission and documents.Turns and positions patients every 2 hours as indicated, using proper body mechanics.Assists and promotes activity, ambulation, up in chair and other activities as ordered.Assists patients with personal hygiene, including as showering, bathing, shaving, shampooing, perianal-care, catheter care and oral care.Takes and records vital signs accurately within established time frame.Consistently performs hourly rounds to ensure patient safety and promote customer satisfaction.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Certified Nurse Aid certification required upon hire.One year of relevant job-related experience required.Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred upon hire and required within 90 days of hire.Benefits:Tuition Assistance reimbursement programPaid Time Off available for use upon hireCompany paid Maternity and Paternity LeaveBereavement Leave (includes pets)Employee Assistance ProgramRetirement plans with company matchIf you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply nowBaptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
