PRIVATE EVENT SUPERVISOR | PRIVATE EVENTS | PART TIME (51284)Join to apply for the PRIVATE EVENT SUPERVISOR | PRIVATE EVENTS | PART TIME (51284) role at The Fox TheatrePRIVATE EVENT SUPERVISOR | PRIVATE EVENTS | PART TIME (51284)4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the PRIVATE EVENT SUPERVISOR | PRIVATE EVENTS | PART TIME (51284) role at The Fox TheatreGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Private Event Supervisor.Private Event Supervisors supervise and participate in the day-of execution of private events, including serving as client and vendor liaison, ensuring an exceptional guest experience to both the client and guests and flawless presentation of our services and spaces.Major ResponsibilitiesSupervise and facilitate all aspects of day-of event execution and guest relations, including but not limited to: proper room setup and floor plans, housekeeping, maintenance, temperature control, A/V and lighting, kitchen readiness, security, damage prevention, food and beverage service and staff.Facilitate multi-vendor load-in and load-out of the building using multiple entrances, including but not limited to: A/V, entertainment, decor, floral, caterer, beverages, event design, etc.Serve as the Fox Theatre representative to the client, vendors, and guests.Facilitate an emergency response as necessary, with coordination with police, security and maintenance personnel, including alarm systems, first aid, evacuation, shelter-in-place, communication with life safety, fire codes and occupancy, etc.Other duties as directedKnowledge, Skills, & QualificationsMust have experience in event management or coordination.Must have basic knowledge of building safety standards and protocol.Must have ability to multi-task.Must have ability to make sound-decisions amongst changing conditions and in a fast-paced environment.Must have exceptional guest or customer service skills, including clear communication and positive attitude.Must have ability to be proactive.Must have excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to troubleshoot basic A/V systems is preferred.Experience in crowd management preferred.Essential Physical RequirementsRegular periods during which there is continuous physical exertion required.Must be able to traverse the building including moving between multiple floors.Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder.Must be able to lift materials or equipment, some of which is heavy or awkward.Other RequirementsMust be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as neededSuccessful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check.Part-Time Benefits Package IncludesEligibility to participate in 403(b) Retirement Plan, including Employer Match Program;Parking Stipend and Parking Discounts.About The Fox TheatreThe Fox Theatre is one of Atlanta's premier venues for live entertainment, welcoming more than 250 performances a year in its 4,665-seat theatre.
