Position Overview:

The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of IT within our manufacturing operations. This includes ensuring the effective use of SAP for enterprise resource planning (ERP), managing technology related to machinery, and addressing back-end network issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manufacturing technology and IT infrastructure, with proven experience in leading IT teams and optimizing systems for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and policies that align with the company’s goals and manufacturing objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align IT initiatives with business objectives and manufacturing processes.

SAP Management:

  • Oversee the implementation, customization, and optimization of SAP ERP systems to support manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP with other enterprise systems and machinery technology.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, providing support and training to users.

Machinery Technology Management:

  • Manage technology related to manufacturing machinery, including integration, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure technology solutions meet production needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor machinery performance and implement solutions to address technology-related issues.

Network and Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers.
  • Address and resolve back-end network issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect the company’s data and IT assets.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in IT management, with a significant focus on manufacturing environments.
  • Extensive experience with SAP ERP systems, including implementation, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience in managing technology related to manufacturing machinery and addressing back-end network issues.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing IT teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing IT challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
