This role reports to the Senior Director of Worldwide Partner Programs and will support all partner routes to market. The ideal candidate will possess a broad array of skills, including project management, change management, operations, communications, budget and vendor management. This position also holds a key role in our partner program change management and readiness activities, including revamping and evolving our global partner program, partner incentive programs and GTM readiness.Your ImpactProject manage strategic projects across all 5 NextWave partner routes to market (Reseller, Managed Security Service Providers, Cloud Service Providers, Distributors and Service Partners), by tracking and reporting on the planning, implementation, documentation and readiness of each project. Ensure alignment with business objectives, stakeholder priorities, and long-term strategic goals.Collaborate with key organizational and regional leadership to identify, prioritize and execute strategic projects, working closely with Channel Operations and IT to define project scope, stakeholders, requirements and deliverables.Cross-Business Unit Stakeholder Management: Collaborate and communicate with internal teams such as Legal, IT, Channel Ops, Partner Services, Finance, Accounting, Enablement and GTM to ensure overall program deployment success.Champion Operational Excellence: Lead the implementation of disciplined execution practices across project management activities, setting the standard for operational excellence and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in all areas of project delivery.Manage Readiness Steering Committee process to facilitate discussions that ensure key stakeholders provide the guidance needed to accelerate the delivery of successful initiatives such as product launch and process improvement.Escalation and Issue Resolution: Be an escalation point for complex or high-risk projects or programs, proactively identifying issues, mitigating risks, and providing strategic guidance to leadership so as to resolve escalations effectively.Create and maintain key program content (overview presentations, guides, infographics, rebate lists, etc.) and collaborate with the Partner Experience team to ensure accurate and relevant program content is available when required.Assist with internal and external NextWave Partner Program communications, partner rebate programs and with Partner Advisory Council logistics, planning and execution.Manage vendor relationships and budgets across partner routes to market. Assist with contract negotiations with new and existing vendors.QualificationsYour ExperienceBA/BS degree or higher in Business Administration or similar field with a focus on project management5-7 years of partner, channel or sales program experienceExperience working in channel or sales organizationProven experience in Change Management and Project ManagementComfortable engaging at all levels in an organization to deliver resultsAbility to work cross-functionally and collaborate to drive resultsContent creation and managementStrong attention to detailsProven problem solverExcellent time management and project management skills, project management certification a plusExperience with Asana a plusAdditional InformationThe TeamThe NextWave Ecosystems team at Palo Alto Networks is a critical component of our continued growth and a strategic pillar for accomplishing our mission. Partner coverage, capacity, and capabilities are key elements of success for the territory sales team, with the ultimate goal of empowering partners to accelerate customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks products and services.Compensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $146000 - $236500/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
