Internal Auditor

OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor for our banking client on a project basis. This contract role is fully remote. This position will assist with the design and maintenance of a Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) to enhance audit effectiveness and align with IIA standards. ResponsibilitiesAssist with the development and implementation of Quality Assurance and Improvement Program Perform internal quality assessments and coordinate external quality reviews for audit function.Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and regulatory compliancePrepare reports for senior management and regulators on audit findings and QAIP results QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields 10+ years of relevant audit experience serving multiple Global Systemically Important Banks (GSIB)Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required Prior experience with internal audit banking methodologies and QAIP frameworksWorking knowledge of TeamMate, Archer, and Audit Board requiredQualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
