Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 4N Medical-Surgical Unit, a dynamic environment focused on delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

The RN on this team will provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care, managing patients with a variety of health conditions and post-operative needs. This full-time role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual committed to high standards in patient care and safety.

Job specification

  • Provide direct patient care in the 4N Medical-Surgical Unit, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient responses to treatments.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and other prescribed treatments.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and home care requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes in the medical-surgical setting.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience considered.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
