Summary The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for software development projects. This role partners closely with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure applications are designed and delivered to meet business goals. You will support the full software development lifecycle, from concept through implementation and go-live. Your Role in Our Mission Meet with stakeholders to understand and document business needs. Gather, clarify, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements. Translate business objectives into clear technical requirements. Review existing processes and identify areas for improvement. Recommend streamlined workflows and system enhancements. Ensure alignment between business processes and software solutions. Partner with developers, designers, and QA teams to validate requirements. Participate in design discussions and solution planning. Serve as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, and user stories. Develop process flows, system documentation, and training materials when needed. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Identify and track defects, working with teams on resolutions. Assist end users during testing phases and production go-live. Build strong relationships with business and IT partners. Communicate project progress, risks, and next steps clearly and consistently. Assist with project planning, timelines, and deliverables. Support risk management, resource coordination, and status reporting. Review and manage change requests. Provide impact analysis and risk assessments. Support stakeholders in making informed decisions. What We’re Looking For 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software application development. Strong understanding of SDLC, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Expertise in requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation. Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar platforms. Healthcare and/or Pharmacy domain knowledge is required. Experience in regulated or complex industries (healthcare, finance, etc.) is a plus.
