Visit TextronSystems.com & Lycoming.com to read more about who we are and the products we make Job Number 331390 About This Role We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for: Responsibilities Serve as a structural analyst performing static and dynamic structural analyses of flight vehicles in the strategic missiles and reentry vehicle area. Utilize a combination of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tools (Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB) and Textron developed software tools to generate structural characteristics and responses. Define recommended changes to improve the performance/efficiency of structural design features. Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports. Up to 5% travel may be required. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2+ years of experience in structural analysis and design. Demonstrated capability/experience in the use of COTS structural/mechanical tools (Siemens NX, Ansys, MATLAB) and a desire to obtain a working knowledge of Textron developed software. Demonstrated capability/experience in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to document structural analysis methodology and results. Excellent communication skills are required, as the position requires the description/documentation of structural analysis techniques and results using a variety of tools (PowerPoint, Word).
