Job Description A hospital located in Great Bend, KS is currently seeking a Ultrasound Technician to join their team full-time Check out the details below:Title: Ultrasound TechnicianJob Type: Permanent / Direct HireSetting: HospitalLocation: Great Bend, KSSchedule: Full-Time, Day-Time hours, 8 or 10 hour shifts available, rotating weeknight, weekend and holiday callPay: Based on experience with mid-point starting at $31/hr. Full benefits package includedThe Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for but may not be limited to:- Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations, using cognitive sonographic skills to identify, document, and adapt examinations as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images- Use independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings and communicates findings to the interpreting radiologist- Explains the sonographic examination being performed and answers any patient questions- Selects and operates a wide variety of imaging equipment in an efficient and safe manner, coordinates examinations>REQUIREMENTS:•Graduated from an accredited ultrasound program•Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or ARDMS Board Eligible•Experience/specialty in abdomen or OB/GYN preferred•BLS certification required or must complete BLS certification with in the first two weeks of employmentAPPLY TODAY with an updated resume to be immediately considered Company Description Favorite Healthcare Staffing, part of Acacium Group, takes pride in connecting candidates with jobs that fit their unique needs.
