Senior Tax Accountant

Overview We are a cross-border Corporate Services firm that is looking to expand our tax services. The right candidate is a tax professional who will work as a key member of our Tax team rendering high quality tax services and ensuring we are meeting all our clients’ tax needs. Main Responsibilities Prepare C corporation federal and multi-state income tax returns and workpapers Assist Tax Management and internal accounting staff with their income tax questions and issues Research federal, state and international income tax issues using tax research software Review and respond to notices and correspondence from governmental agencies for various federal and state tax issues and other inquiries Discuss and resolve tax and financial questions/issues with clients and prospective clients Assist in the preparation of income tax accruals for year-end financial statements Prepare quarterly estimated tax payment calculations for large corporation clients Required Qualifications and Skills 2-3 years’ experience preparing C Corporation and multi-state income tax returns, preferably at a CPA firm Bachelor’s degree in accounting required CPA certification or working towards CPA preferred Experience preparing the following forms is a plus: Forms 5472, 5471, 1118, 8992, 8993, and FBAR Experience with CCH Wolters Kluwer Profx System or Axcess Tax preferred Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to work as a part of a team Ability to interact and maintain strong relationships with clients Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well with multiple priorities and deadlines Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Disability insurance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at ZEDRA Group by 2x Get notified about new Tax Accountant jobs in Boston, MA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
