Description developing data-driven fraud strategies, leveraging analytical insights to detect patterns, assess risk, and design scalable solutions to combat fraudulent activity. Proven experience working with large datasets, with strong proficiency in SQL, Python / R and any data visualization tools. Skilled in conducting deep analytical investigations and solving complex problems, with a solid understanding of machine learning techniques and statistical concepts. Experience evaluating and integrating third-party data vendors to enhance fraud detection capabilities and strengthen risk signaling. Strong understanding of payment systems and e-commerce platforms, with hands‑on experience designing and analyzing A / B tests to evaluate and optimize product and risk strategies. Proven ability to lead projects individually and mentor other junior data scientists. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The US national annual pay range for this role is $123,500 to $212,850.
