Hair Stylist

Seeking experienced Cosmetologist to joinChristwood Community Center's Lotus Spa team. The ideal candidate willhave access to our existing book of business with opportunity to expand andserve over 600 potential clients already connected to the Christwood community.This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful setting nestled in the hubof Covington.

Requirements for this position include:

• Current Cosmetology License
• Proof of Liability Insurance
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor, especially when working with elderly clients.
• Experience working with adaptive equipment a plus.

Cosmetologist Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of salon services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, and chemical treatments.
• Perform nail care services such as manicures and pedicures.
• Consult with residents to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate services.
• Offer a flexible schedule, supporting the needs of the client.
• Maintain a clean and organized salon area, ensuring compliance of the Louisiana standards of sanitation and sterilization as required.
• Be professional and courteous at all times.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality and tranquil spa environment.

Lotus Spa opened in 2014 and is located inChristwood's 23,000 square foot state of the art Community Center located at100 Christwood Blvd. Christwood's Mission is to help Seniors livewith dignity, independence and the assurance of needed physical, spiritual andmedical care.
