We are a small-to-medium sized family-owned business with locations across the mid-west. Our focus within the company is in various aspects of the agriculture industry. Sectors such as: retail to the farmer, chemical storage, finance, and wholesale. As a business in farming, we have seasons. In the Information Technology side, there is a busy season when the farmers are out of the fields and a less busy season when the farmers are in the field.

As a small-to-medium sized business, we operate at the highest efficiency we can maintain. We are looking for someone who can excel or has willingness to excel in various aspects of the Information Technology world at Kova in our small IT team. The renaissance technologist here would be expected to handle networking tasks, desktop support for staff, scripting/automation, various operating systems experience (Windows, Linux, FreeBSD) – basically, take on what is needed to keep us going proactively and reactively.

There are after-hours tasks to be done here and there – mostly where appropriate. Traveling is minimal between sites.
