Job Summary: As one of the industry's leading automotive dealerships, we are always looking for our future leaders. Our Advisor in Training program provides a solid foundation for you to build on your future. This position is an entry-level position with a career path for advancement, and from this point you can build your own future with the tools and skills that you will be provided. We offer a comprehensive Development Program and Self Study Program, which successful candidates complete within 4 months. All successful candidates attend a comprehensive training program where you will get one on one training with our experienced trainers and receive all study materials and coursework provided to you at no cost including a company laptop and on the job training in multiple automotive departments

- Competitive Hourly Rates: AIT Program Pay Scale will be paid upon employment start and is a tiered system with frequent increases. Completion of Course will move give you a path into a Full Time Advisor position with the Service Advisor Salary Pay Plan included in this position.

Essential Functions you will learn as an Advisor in Training:
- Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
- Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
- Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
- Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection. Verifiable experience writing, estimating, and selling service and maintenance for automobiles and light trucks.
- Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
- Obtain customer and vehicle Information
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently.
- Verify the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair orders.
- Comfortably and clearly explain all completed work and charges to the customer.
- Keeping customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
