Job Summary Aids physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non‑invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems. Operates X‑ray and physiological equipment, assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and maintains equipment records. Job Requirements Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience (Preferred) One year of catheterization experience (Preferred) Licenses/Certifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT‑R): Required Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License: Required in OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS, HS‑BLS, or RQIBLS): Required Facility Specific License/Certifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream ACLS (HS‑ACLS) or RQIACLS: Required Essential Functions Assist physicians with procedures, operating all special procedure equipment and selecting technical factors as needed. Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs throughout procedures, applying radiation safety standards, collimation, and patient protection. Operate and maintain physiologic equipment, including cardiac cath equipment such as C‑Arm, angiographic injectors, and patient monitoring systems. Assist the cardiologist or radiologist during special procedures, including administration of opaque media via catheter or direct injection. Complete appropriate forms at the start and end of procedures, record charges, perform general office duties, and keep the area stocked and clean. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
