Applied Machine Learning Research Engineer

Join a stealth mode GenAI startup backed by a top VC, they are currently a team of 10, with folks from Google, Twitter, and Coinbase to name a few. This company have recently secured a huge funding round and are focused on building cutting-edge AI-driven consumer applications at scale. They are targeting hundreds of millions of regular users all around the world.


We are looking for an an Applied ML Research Engineer to join their team. You should have strong coding skills and a background in applied machine learning. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Large Language models, understanding of LLM layers, and expertise in handling various data types and data cleanup processes.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Research and apply the latest GenAI trends to their product roadmap.
  • Design, build, and optimize LLM applications, including data processing, model training, and MLOps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful AI solutions.


Required Skills


  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in machine learning, with a proven track record of deploying AI models.
  • Strong coding skills (Python) and familiarity with libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
  • Startup experience
  • Solid experience working with LLMs
