Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our dynamic team. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, following recipes, and assisting in all areas of the kitchen. This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen

Qualifications
  • Culinary school or related experience is a bonus.
  • Three years culinary experience in a high volume, upscale, chef driven kitchen preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of soups, sauces, butchery, and cooking techniques.
  • A willingness to follow procedures, complete tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • An understanding of menu preparation, ordering and production organization.
  • Previous experience assisting in running a kitchen line of 5+ cooks at a time is a bonus.
  • Hard-working, consistent, and assertive personality.
  • Must have a sense of pride, sense of respect and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
