Goshen Public Library & Historical Society, 366 Main Street, Goshen, NY is seeking a part-time library clerk to join our tech services team.

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 18-20 hours/week

Starting Salary: $15.20/hour

Duties include but are not limited to:

Receiving materials

Reconciling packing slips/invoices to go to business office

Physical processing of materials: applying spine labels, covers, dustjackets etc.

Creating, updating and maintaining item records in the library catalog

Maintaining/repairing materials

Processing materials to be withdrawn

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Proficient in/ readily adaptable for changing technology

Precision and attention to detail

Ability to do physical work: lift boxes, move bookcarts, etc.

Working knowledge of library services

Organization skills including the ability to prioritize and multi-task

Perform a high volume of work with accuracy and attention to detail.
