Electromechanical Technician

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for the wiring, troubleshooting, and electrical component assembly of automated machinery.

* Work with engineering and mechanical assemblers to plan out junction box placement and cable routing
* Wire industrial control panels to UL specifications, follow wire schematics
* Machine frame wiring, including.
* Running motor/sensor and network cables
* Mounting cable management components
* Machine to control panel interconnection wiring
* Troubleshoot wiring errors
* Assist engineering with sensor setup and troubleshooting

Job Requirements

Qualification Requirement

* Ability to read electrical schematics
* Experience in using basic hand and power tools recommended but not required
* Ability to use a multi meter for troubleshooting
* Ability to navigate a computer (CAD experience helpful but not required)
* Offers training to company specific applications to be used on the computers
* Verbal and written communication skills helpful
* Ability to follow directions
* Ability to organize safety audits and recognize unsafe situations

Physical Demands and Abilities

* Ability to carry up to 45lbs and lift from below the waist to above the head
* Daily duties and responsibilities may include, bending, reaching, lifting objects (below the waist and above the head), walking and/or standing for extended periods of time (and possibly for extended distances), climbing stairs, stooping, and kneeling
* Ability to work over and under machines for running cables
