Exciting Outpatient opportunity to work alongside world renowned neuroscientist and psychologist Dr. Lukasz Konopka in his Brain to Behavior Program at The Institute for Personal Development (IPD) member of DuPage Medical Group.IPD is seeking candidates full time Neuropsychologist position. This candidate must be able to work with young children, adolescents, adults, and families. A Clinical Psychologist will provide direct clinical service including neuropsychological evaluations and consultations in an outpatient group practice setting. Interest in academic approaches clinical research preferred.QUALIFICATIONS :Must have a PsyD or PhDBoard Certified or Experience in Neuropsychological TestingA current unrestricted clinical license to practice independentlyHave an interest in collaborating with other staff members and working as a teamMore about Dr. Konopka and his workDr. Konopka is a clinical neuroscientist with expertise in human psychophysiology and experience in the Brain to Behavior Approach to diagnosis and treatment. He interprets each patients brain functionality by considering their genetic vulnerabilities, developmental milestones, sensory processing, and neurobehavioral presentation as substrates for developing personalized treatment approaches. Diagnostically, in addition to the standard clinical evaluation, Dr. Konopka relies on QEEG, physiological data from evoked potentials, emotional activation studies, and emotional and cognitive / neurobehavioral testing.Therapeutically, Dr. Konopka uses a behavioral and physiological approach that incorporates traditional individual and family therapy. Dr. Konopkas background allows him to effectively use biofeedback, neurofeedback, and other neuro-modulating tools such as Transcranial Stimulation. In addition, he also employs therapeutic tools such art, music, creative writing, and other expressive modalities.
