Universal Avionics is looking for a self-motivated PCB Designer to join our growing team in producing complex circuit card assemblies. Design work will span the entire product life cycle, making you an integral and essential member of the engineering team.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Coordinate design inputs with electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Design of complex printed circuit boards to IPC standards
  • Library management of PCB CAD data
  • Conduct engineering and manufacturing reviews
  • Generation of engineering documentation
  • Participation in change control and change management process
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5+ years of PCB design experience
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Even better if you have:
  • Associates degree in related field
  • Experience with Mentor Xpedition
  • Previous experience producing PCB designs for high reliability applications
