The Position:
As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, at Double Bull Taphouse you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming greeting to guests, managing reservations, and helping to create a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. The Host/Hostess will work closely with other members of the restaurant team to ensure that all guests are seated promptly and efficiently, and that they receive exceptional service throughout their meal.
Host/Hostess candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of service experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests to Double Bull Taphouse with a friendly and warm greeting
- Manage reservations and ensure that all guests are seated promptly and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and specials, and make recommendations to guests as needed
- Monitor the dining area and ensure that all guests are receiving exceptional service
- Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Work with other members of the restaurant team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Exude a high level of hospitality to our guests - smile and have fun
- Ability to work in a stressful and high-volume work environment
- Ability to multitask and take direction
- Work as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Be able to lift up to 30 lbs and carry a tray
