Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Cardiology

About this role.
As an Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiology, you will collaborate with a team of one physician and five advanced practice providers who are committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, youll see 10-12 patients per day, and youll proctor inpatient/outpatient cardiac stress tests and PET scans, complete pacemaker interrogations prior to MRI, and assist with discharges in the post-cath unit.
- You will practice at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah.
- Your hours will be Monday-Friday, 4 10-hour shifts per week with one Saturday shift per month
- Minimal call until fully staffed
Requirements of this role.
- Unrestricted Utah NP or PA license
- Current Utah DEA certificate required prior to start date
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
Preferences of this role.
- Cardiology experience especially with stress testing
- Minimum 3 years of experience
