Beauty is looking for a Senior Director of Amazon North America to join our Digital Commerce team, reporting into the VP, Amazon. The position will be responsible for executing the growth strategies on Amazon for e.l.f. Beauty’s North American markets. This role will be based in New York City. The candidate will have strong working knowledge of the Amazon Vendor & Seller central business models with experience in managing multi-brand portfolio and complex digital strategies. The candidate will manage a vast array of job functions (account management, business development and analysis, brand growth strategy development and execution, online sales fundamentals execution, P&L and budget management) and be a key stakeholder in the development and delivery of the joint business plan with Amazon and e.l.f. net revenue and P&L targets. A successful candidate will work in collaboration with Sales Planning and Marketing functions to develop sustainable growth.ResponsibilitiesLead a US-based team of Account Managers through clear, strategic vision setting that optimizes resource allocation, builds sustainable growth trajectories, and leverages data to drive solutionsDevelop and deliver joint business plan targets and brand growth strategies on Amazon across e.l.f.’s portfolio of brands in North AmericaForecast, track, and deliver consumption and sales growth targets for e.l.f and AmazonBuild and nurture customer relationships across multiple levels and job types within AmazonOversee a digital forecasting process that allows for optimal in‑stocks levels, aligned upon between the customer and e.l.fManage all account financials including margin, co‑op rebates, markdowns, etc.Use data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profitsCollaborate with sales planning and marketing teams to provide and explain market data to the customerWork with Amazon business leads to implement methods that assist our customers in effectively and creatively winning with consumers, shoppers, end‑users, and purchasers through promotions, packaging and merchandisingNegotiate and manage trade funds to create customer and company value by consistently measuring and enforcing trade terms and identifying opportunities for improvementManage and build Amazon agency relationship and divide daily account management roles and responsibilities for the success of the Amazon businessRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar field and / or MBA preferred12+ years of direct and hands‑on experience with Amazon channels (both Vendor and Seller Central)5+ years of management experience, with proven ability to coach, lead, and upskill talentStrong operations background, including Amazon demand planning, order management process, and strong knowledge of key Amazon supply chain KPIsDeep knowledge of Digital Commerce product flow and web store performance optimizationExperience developing and managing budgetsAbility to operate independently given direction, bring ideas and solutions to issues raisedAbility to analyze and assess organizational needs and provide solutions accordinglyInterpersonal savvy: an ability to effectively work with and collaborate with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographiesThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this position.
