Job Summary
- The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists in caring for patients in the clinic setting, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) develops long-term, rewarding relationships with patients, building trust and understanding their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
Requirements
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
