Horizon Auto Logistics (HAL) is an international, privately owned Automotive Logistics Integrator for Finished Vehicles. We operate automotive terminals in seaports, external automotive yards and vehicle processing centers, manufacturing plant logistics, inland transportation, and automotive leasing logistics.

Position Overview: The Head of Technology will lead innovation efforts and manage the development of our technology roadmap, playing a key role in driving our business forward. Responsibilities include developing and implementing the company's technology strategy aligned with business goals, overseeing IT system architecture and scalability to support growth, and deploying cutting-edge technologies like AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). You will also manage IT development and support teams, ensure seamless system integration, and facilitate data-driven decision-making using tools for data visualization. Additionally, you will manage vendor contracts, ensure cybersecurity compliance, collaborate with executive leadership to enhance customer experience, and forecast future technology needs while managing budgets. 


Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and implement the company's technology strategy aligned with business goals.

·       Improve current logistics processes using new technologies

· Design new processes using hardware and software

· Oversee IT system architecture and scalability to support growth.

·       Lead the deployment of innovative technologies, including AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

·       Manage IT development and support teams for optimal performance.

·       Ensure seamless system integration and data-driven decision-making using tools like Microsoft Power BI.

·       Manage vendor contracts and IT assets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity protocols.

·       Collaborate with executive leadership to enhance customer experience through technological innovation.

·       Forecast future technology needs and manage budgets.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).

·       Proven leadership experience in IT or product development within a SaaS or similar environment.

·       Strong knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft 365) and experience with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI.

·       Experience with emerging technologies, including AI and RPA.

·       Excellent strategic and tactical thinking abilities.

·       Proficiency in English (Spanish preferred).
