Great team environment Here's What You Need Education Nursing Diploma required Or Associate's Degree Nursing required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Experience 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting preferred GI Lab experience strongly preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (maintained annually) 90 days required And BCMSN- Board Certified Medical-Surgical Nurse upon hire preferred What You Will Do Texas Health's nursing theory is the Quality Caring Model© developed by Dr. Joanne Duffy.
