Our client, a growing organization in the Manchester area, is seeking a Bookkeeper to manage essential financial tasks and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations. Location: Manchester, CT
Compensation: $23-$28 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger entries to ensure accuracy in all financial reporting.
- Manage expense reports and verify account discrepancies, working with vendors and clients to resolve issues.
- Support monthly and year-end close processes, assisting in audit preparation and budget tracking.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and QuickBooks experience.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
