The Corporate CDM will assist facilities in all aspects of culinary operations. This includes but not limited to ordering, budgeting, staffing, menu planning, dining services, and overall sanitation of the culinary department. Medical, dental, and vision insurance

Consults and assists all 81 skilled nursing facilities' dietary departments
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and applicable laws
Uses independent judgment and discretion on behalf of the organization in the performance of these duties.
Assists all facilities in training of CDMs.
Willing to travel and assist all CIENA managed communities, this includes overnight stays in outlying facilities.
Reviews food service polices along with the Director of Dietary and Nutritional Services yearly.
Provides in-servicing to culinary departments on needed topics.
Assist facilities with the fine dining program.
Reviews budgets with CDMs and provides assistance with budgetary compliance.
Works with Risk Management in reducing number of work-related injuries in the culinary department.
Minimum five-year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting focusing on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets.
