Role:

  • Analyze project documents, requirements and scope of work to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Collaborate with the project delivery /operations team, engineers and clients to gather all necessary information for bid proposals
  • Evaluate labor, material, equipment and time requirements to compute the overall project cost.
  • Stay current with industry trends, codes and standards to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and agreements
  • Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to management, clients and stakeholders
  • Manage multiple project estimates simultaneously whilst ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets

Key Skills:

  • Previous proven Telecommunications Estimator experience or similar role preferable in OSP.
  • Previous estimating experience in OSP, FTTH,FTTP, aerial/underground fiber, EV charging, BESS a benefit
  • In depth knowledge of telecommunications systems
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
