Windows Server Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Customers & Company's Windows-based infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of the business and requires a strong understanding of Windows Server technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Implement and manage server applications, including web applications, databases, and print services.
- Develop and maintain custom software applications using various programming languages, including Python and HTML.
- Utilize database design skills to create and maintain database structures.
- Use TFS to manage source code and collaborate with team members.
- Create reports using SSRS to provide insights into system performance and trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Server infrastructure, server applications, and network connectivity.
- Participate in the development of new software applications using Agile methodologies and OOP principles.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that new applications are designed to work seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
- Use Bootstrap to create responsive and user-friendly web applications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all server configurations and system updates.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data and systems.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in database design and experience with database management systems.
- Experience with application development using Python and HTML.
- Familiarity with TFS and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with SSRS and creating reports.
- Knowledge of Bootstrap and responsive web design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with server virtualization and cloud computing platforms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
