Sign‑On Bonus This position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus of $5,000 to $10,000. Responsibilities Provide safe, efficient, patient‑centered and evidence‑based pharmacy and medication services. Ensure the appropriate selection, dosing, administration and dispensing of medication orders. Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations. Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner. Actively contribute to medication safety initiatives. Ensure all pharmacy operations are in compliance with national accreditation standards. Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and/or patients. Provide cost‑effective care. Minimum Qualifications PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy. Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligibility in the current state within 90 days of hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in the administration of immunizations or certification within 90 days of hire for individuals administering immunizations. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon or within one year of hire for individuals responding to adult or pediatric cardiopulmonary arrest events. Preferred Qualifications Board Certification. Completion of a Post‑Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post‑graduate pharmacy experience. Post‑Graduate Year 2 Residency (PGY2) or relevant experience for Clinical Pharmacists in a specialized pharmacy practice area. Physical Requirements Typical physical demands include the ability to perform the job while standing and walking for prolonged times, approximately 75% of a shift, continuously for extended periods; manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer and dispensing functions; ability to lift up to 30 lbs.; reaching, stretching, stooping, climbing steps and sitting; normal or corrected vision; and the ability to communicate verbally by phone or in person.
