Sr. Manager, Enterprise Architect & Strategy (Hybrid) Salary: $124,000 /yr – $250,000 /yr Location: HNC01: UTAS Headquarters (HS) 2730 West Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC 28217, USA Hybrid role – candidate must be within driving distance of a major Collins Aerospace facility. What You’ll Do Demonstrate expertise, authenticity, and a commanding presence that earns trust and respect from peers and Executive Leadership. Exhibit strategic thinking and decisiveness in aligning technical outcomes with business needs. Speak with clarity and authority, adapting tone and messaging to engage and influence audiences. Possess rich IT/Systems Engineering experience and strong understanding of architectural principles and industry best practices. Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to anticipate their impact on enterprise strategy and drive innovation. Act as a Digital Technology thought leader and architectural evangelist, communicating complex ideas to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Seek cross‑functional partnerships to align technology initiatives with business goals, maximizing impact. Identify and champion opportunities where digital solutions create measurable business value. Lead discussions, propose solutions, and ensure follow‑through on strategic initiatives. Qualifications You Must Have University degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and minimum 7 years of experience. U.S. citizenship required (necessary for security clearance). 10+ years of senior‑level technical leadership guiding architecture and engineering across complex environments. Deep hands‑on experience across Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Infrastructure, Application Architecture, Integration, Business Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Data domains. Strong understanding of digital transformation strategies, product development, and full product lifecycle management. Proven ability to design and validate system architectures and Systems‑of‑Systems (SoS) integration approaches compliant with security and acquisition requirements. Strategic technology planning skills with alignment to business goals. Experience conceiving and delivering innovative, value‑driven solutions using emerging technologies. Familiarity with industry‑standard frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF) and current security controls. Qualifications We Prefer Current DoD security clearance (Secret) with ability to obtain TS/SCI. Advanced degree or domain experience in key technology areas (cybersecurity, AI/ML, data analytics). Enterprise Architect certifications (Open Group, AWS, etc.).
