Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervising and coordinating of healthcare services in the CT department.
  • Assist with the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the CT dept. t.
  • Provide leadership and monitor staff performance to achieve goals and meet departmental standards. 
  • Supervise programs effectively, demonstrating the ability to plan, organize, lead, monitor, and evaluate the services provided. 
  • Take ownership of assignments, special projects, pilot programs and other duties as requested, including performance improvement, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement activities. 
  • Assist all staff and modality leaders with PACS and EPIC issues and system corrections. 
  • Perform all routine diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures and produce quality imaging while applying radiation and physical safety measures. 
  • Serve as a resource for new staff. 

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 
  • Advanced certified in CT within two years of the date of hire. 
  • Two years of CT Tech experience 
  • Basic Life Support certification 

Preferred Job Requirements: 

  • Supervisor experience
