Senior Environmental Engineer Company : The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join our team in Portland OR. Position Responsibilities Leads the development, implementation, and administration of environmental management system processes and programs Leads and develops compliance reviews of internal processes and practices Evaluates facility conditions and recommends alternatives Leads interface with regulatory agencies Leads Air Pollution Control program for site and ensures compliance with site permits Leads / Supports environmental emergency response activities Supports other environmental compliance programs as needed This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing Portland Site located in Gresham Oregon. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) Bachelor's degree or higher 5 years of experience with environmental compliance and environmental program management 5 years of experience in areas of air quality, stormwater, hazardous waste, industrial wastewater, spill prevention, storage tanks, environmental sampling, data analysis, and/or environmental reporting Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) Bachelor/Master/Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, geology, or environmental management 9 years of experience with environmental compliance and regulations Experience implementing or managing an environmental health and safety management system Environmental Permitting Experience Air permitting experience with a complex manufacturing facility Drug Free Workplace Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
